A school building worth $ 317,589, located in Chroy Metrey Leu village, Russey Chroy commune, Moukh Kampoul district, Kandal province, sponsored by Sheikh Abdullah Annuri Charitable Association of Kuwait, in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation for Education and Development, has been officially inaugurated on the morning of May 29, 2024 under the presidency of H.E Dr. Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister in charge of Special Mission and President of the Muslim Development Foundation of Cambodia (CMDF).
The construction of the Abdul Aziz Al Mujini School began on February 23, 2023, and was completed on May 20, 2024. It is 8 meters wide, 46 meters long, 3 floors high and 15 rooms.
The ASEAN Foundation for Education and Development was established in 2014 and has been actively partnering with donor charities in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia.
For the past 10 years, the organization has contributed to the development of the society, such as building high schools, building primary and secondary schools in some provinces, building houses for the poor, building a model village, providing scholarships for students, raising children Orphans and needy children, digging wells, building clean stalls, distributing fishing boats to the people, distributing tuk-tuks to the people and distributing cattle raising projects to the people.
